Refund Policy

We hope that every booking you place via the Drivesafe Mate Driving School platform goes ahead without issue. However, we understand that sometimes things happen. If you would like a refund, please email your request to our Support Team at info@Drivesafematedrivingschool.com.au.

We do our best to facilitate fair refunds. To check your eligibility, please read below:


When Am I Eligible to Receive a Refund?

  • There are no available driving instructors in your location.
  • There are no driving instructors available within the next 4 weeks.
  • You have accidentally processed your payment multiple times.
  • You want to convert booking credits (e.g., convert test package credits to lesson hours).
  • You have completed over 10 hours of bookings and no longer need the remaining lesson credits.
  • Your driving instructor has not arrived for your booking.
  • Your instructor has cancelled your booking.

When Am I Not Eligible to Receive a Refund?

  • Your wallet value is zero or has expired.
  • A change of mind, such as:
    1. Found the service cheaper.
    2. Have completed your logbook hours and no longer need the service.
    3. No longer wish to use the service.
    4. You have relocated since your original purchase.
  • Your preferred instructor is not available, but others are.
  • An issue with the driving instructor not meeting your expectations.
    1. Tip: Provide an instructor rating via your learner account.
    2. Tip: You can change instructors online anytime.
  • A booking issue caused by user error, such as:
    1. Not holding the correct license.
    2. Booking the wrong service.
    3. Providing an incorrect pickup address or contact number.
    4. Not meeting licensing requirements for your driving test.
  • A booking issue caused by external sources (e.g., local licensing authority).
  • You requested a late cancellation and were charged by your instructor.
  • You have an active payment dispute.

Resolving Your Request

To request a refund or file a complaint, email us at info@Drivesafematedrivingschool.com.au. Please provide as much information as possible to speed up the process. If eligible, refunds will be returned to your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.
