Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from learner drivers in Victoria and the Northern Territory about our driving lessons, booking process, test preparation, logbook hours, driving test car hire and what to bring.

What areas do you serve?

We currently serve parts of Victoria and the Northern Territory, especially Melton, Deer Park, Point Cook, nearby western suburbs, and Darwin plus surrounding areas. If your suburb is nearby, call 1800 181 313 and we will confirm if we can come to you.

Do you offer automatic or manual driving lessons?

We mainly offer automatic driving lessons, with manual driving lessons available in selected areas. All our vehicles are right-hand drive to suit Australian road conditions. When you enquire, please tell us if you need automatic or manual so we can match you with the right instructor and car.

Can you help with overseas licence conversion?

Yes. We regularly help overseas drivers get used to Australian road rules, right-hand drive vehicles, driving on the left side of the road, school zones, speed limits, parking rules and local driving test expectations in Victoria and Darwin.

What should I bring to my first lesson?

Please bring your current learner permit or valid licence, wear comfortable closed shoes, and bring your logbook or learner app if you are collecting logbook hours. We recommend being ready a few minutes early for your pick-up.

How long are the driving lessons?

Standard driving lessons are usually 60 minutes. Extended driving lessons may also be available if you want extra practice for parking, roundabouts, freeway driving, driving test preparation or confidence building.

Do you provide cars for the driving test?

Yes, we offer test-day car hire in many service areas. This may include a warm-up drive before your test, use of our car for the test, and drop-off afterwards. Availability depends on your location and test date, so it is best to book early.

How do I book a driving lesson?

You can book a driving lesson by calling us on 1800 181 313 or by using our contact page. We recommend booking early if you want a preferred time, especially for weekends and after-school times.

What languages do your instructors speak?

Our instructors speak English, Punjabi and Hindi to help learners feel comfortable and understand instructions clearly. This is especially helpful for nervous learners and international drivers.

Can I cancel or reschedule my lesson?

Yes. Please see our Booking & Cancellation Policy for details. In general, cancellations made with enough notice are easier to reschedule, while late cancellations may involve charges depending on the booking terms.

Do you help with logbook hours?

Yes, we can help you collect logbook hours. Bring your logbook or learner app to each lesson so your instructor can record eligible driving time. We can also help structure lessons so you gain useful experience in different road and traffic conditions.

What is your refund policy?

For information about refunds, please read our Refund Policy. Refund requests are handled according to the relevant booking and payment conditions.

How do I prepare for my driving test?

We offer driving test preparation including practice in local test areas, help with common test mistakes, parking practice, roundabouts, lane changes, and confidence building. Test-day support with a warm-up lesson can also help you feel more prepared.
